We’re absolutely thrilled for Inverell to have received a Showcase Meeting from Racing NSW. Coming off the back of many years of hardwork and dedication from the Inverell Jockey Club Committee, Staff, Trainers and the Communities love of racing.
The Showcase Meeting will see an increase of the 2022 XXXX Inverell Cup taking it to $45,000.00 and total race day prizemoney of $255,000.00 on offer. We have so much planned for the day see details below

Racegoers – we’re racing Saturday 1st January 2022 and you’re all invited. Members, Owners and General Public are welcome.
What’s happening on Race Day
Fashions on the Field – Categories will be Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Couple, Best Headwear, Best dressed Child. Fashions will be done after the last in front of the grandstand. (This may change pending NSW Health Orders as of 1st January 2022.
Queensland Holiday Package Giveaway – Every person who completes an online ticket will go into the draw for their chance to win a QLD Holiday for two drawn live after the last race.
Inverell Sporties Barrier Experience – Available to racegoers 18 years and over get the chance to travel around to the barriers and get up close to watch the jump out
Full Bar Services, Catering, Bookies, Tote and Eftpos are available. Gates open at 11:00am.

There is no vaccination requirements for this event (Pending NSW Health Orders)
All attendees will be required to wear a wrist band to access venue and bar services
Anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian
Inverell Jockey Club Reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Venue capacity will be based upon 2 metres squared per person (Pending NSW Health Orders as of 1st January 2022)
Masks are not required for the General Public, Members and Owners but for our Hospitality Staff’s safety they will be wearing masks (Pending NSW Health Orders as of 1st January 2022)
A full refund will be applied to all ticket purchases should the event be cancelled due to weather, Covid 19 NSW Health Orders, or on instruction from Racing NSW .
If the event is cancelled you will not need to apply for a refund, we will automatically refund all ticket holders
